That looks like my graphic from the old Survivorwiki site that I rediscovered while cleaning up passwords a couple of months ago. I don't think anybody had logged onto that site for years. It was pretty worthless with some less than savory characters.
So I haven't been dyeing my hair bright red and wearing high heels lately but I have been playing around with 3D printing. I have a few stores at Shapeways in various states of dis-repair and mange to earn anywhere from $1 to $10 per month in royalties. It's not even beer money. I'm thinking I should come up with a 3D printed mascot for us here. Something you can all purchase to make me rich. Yup, that's the ticket!
Is there a preview here? I can't seem to find one. Can we embed html code here? I hate new things. This is a new thing.

Po, glad to hear from the man that cooked his wiener for Lynne.
RHAP, I do listen to few of them, but usually the people that he has are the ones I don't like on the show.
Got to have lunch with Dale Wentworth in December. Had a great chat that could have gone on for hours if it wasn't for a hockey game he had to attend.

Know It Alls is one of the regular podcasts Rob Cesternino does. It's basically a one hour recap of a 44 minute Survivor episode where Rob C. (Survivor Amazon/All Stars) and Stephen Fishbach (Tocatins) discuss the strategy implications of the episode. It is a reasonably insightful analysis of the episode. If you are going to add Survivor podcasts to your life and only have time for one, then this is the most useful.

I commute around 50 minutes each way and run at least an hour a day so I have plenty of time to listen to podcasts.

Here's a quick stab at designing a slightly more stylized LP bust. I took a few liberties such as adding black hair. No lips and no ears make this guy a little creepy. In theory it can be printed in what's called full color sandstone, which is a bit like colorized plasterboard that is bound with glues. There's also a full color plastic process but it is very inconsistent with regards to color and final shape but it is waterproof. In the next year or two HP should be coming out with much better color plastic printers. Of course it can also be printed out in pure white plastic and then painted. As a final step it would need to be hollowed out to reduce cost. If there's a bobble head mechanism available from another source the little guy could also be designed to mount on that. Then there would be LP bobble heads travelling the roads of the nation from coast to coast! Oh great, it looks like I must put the image in a gallery or something before posting. But you have a comb over by now, right? (I don't.  ) If you want to design a more "realistic" LP you need to need a program that's better at sculpting, like Sculptris which is supposedly a good choice - and free! I keep saying I should try it.... |
