Everyone's words are appreciated. I have lost track of how many times I've applied. I always feel, the next tape is the one. I am 100% a different person than when I started applying. I'm now single, lost 50 pounds from my max weight, earned my bachelors and three master degrees. And I cut off my pony tail. My attitude about people has changed significantly and I (for the first time in my life) question my purpose. I could use the game to refocus my life. Isn't that what they're looking for anyway? Make people look weak while others strong. Maybe somewhere in between I guess.

Santa... You are who you are... Embrace it and explain how that fits in with the show. If you are different, show them. Be positive! They don't want people who are trying to "escape" from their life... they want people who want to "share" their strengths on the show. Show how the differences in your life will make you a better player!!! how they will make you more entertaining... How it will develop conflicts and how it will help you WIN!

I applied to survivor and they called me a year later and gave me the runaround. I've lost faith that they have anything but recruits, actresses and models on the show. Here's the phone number to the casting Director Lynne Spillman 310.XXX.XXXX. Best of luck.

Believer... please leave phone numbers out. If casting wants you, they call you.... you don't call them. It doesn't help you to call unsolicited.
Jerry... sorry, once the poll is up, I can't change it. But we know who made it from PI and we know you were the only one who made it twice!!!

I haven't applied in years! My life is definitely very different than it was when I last applied! I'm always tempted to apply, just to see if I can snag some attention, but I don't think I would accept an offer if given. I'd be very, very tempted, but would have to trust my better judgement. Maybe making a before and after video could be therapeutic...."you didn't want me to play your version of Survivor, so I played my own game and won like a mother-effer, and it's not even over yet....so thanks for not giving me the opportunity to do something that could have potentially kept me from the life I have now."
I do hope to see some of you on the show, that way I'm sure to find someone interesting to schmooze with at the finale after parties!
