Hey Rono, thank you for the review, I look forward to a season of these. It was comical seeing you describe your intended length as I looked at the 5+ minute video. Yes, the no-collar tribe seemed like where our attention should be focused, and yes Hali rocks. Glad you noticed.
Dan – proved to all of us that no matter who you think you will be on the show, you will end up being who you already are. The blue collar tribe looks like a train wreck at this point.
An editorial comment – no lead is insurmountable if you lost. The white collar is off to a glorious start, are they not? Since the puzzle was all squares, wouldn’t that be ideal for “white collar” people? Maybe they needed Cochran?
I don’t think you gave nearly enough credit to Carolyn in your review. She sniffed out the lie, watched other “smart people” look for the idol and without a clue, she found it; she flipped the target away from her; and managed to hang on to the idol. That is a rockstar first episode. As the senior member of the cast, I think she deserved props for this. You called Dan the great white hope of 40 somethings. She’s 52 and I’m much more hopeful she will make it happen at this point than Dan.
Loved the review, keep 'em coming! But lose the Cowboys shirt ;-)

Ahh, finally! Okay, what's up with the massive wardrobe malfunctions? White collar, No collar, and Dan's diaper. Ridiculous. bit.ly/1G8wATwOn the Dan note, can I just say that when I hear you say "guys over 40" as though we are ancient, nearly dead folks it is so disheartening. People wear their age so differently. Dan comes across as an old 47 to me. In his defense, he said early on that we would remember him. And, at least so far he has held true to his word. He's making his mark on this game. Tribe of misfit toys . . . pure genius. You call Joe "Orlando Bloom," but he seriously looks like Malcolm, Part 2 to me. Its a screaming shame we lost Vince. Train wrecks make for great rubbernecking.

Who would you had gotten rid of Nina or Will?

I think I would have gotten rid of Will. I think I would really like Will in person, but he doesn't seem up to the game. Nina seems like a more loyal, predictable player you would prefer to have around after a tribal shuffle or merge. Rono, where you at?
