SURVIVOR 30 – Episode 2
Whoa Dan! TMI…gross! So Dan says that he was in the water, trying to do his business, when a wave came and took his drawers. Dropping a deuce in the water? C’mon man, even BobDawg Mason didn’t do that! He went in that Charmin outhouse, that didn’t even have a hole dug for it yet, and did his business there. Go dig a hole for your business and then wash in the water. And to think, I picked Dan to be in my final 5. Ahhh!
So it’s Day 4 and the White tribe finally got fire! It’s about time! I guess they didn’t have to boil their water like in seasons past. Things sure have changed in 15 years! No Max, don’t strip to your birthday suit just to honor past players! Although…I would swim naked so as to clean myself up and to wash my clothes, but not to walk around camp in my birthday suit like Max did. Now one of the girls has gone bottomless and the 2 guys trying to talk to her are dumbfounded and can’t even form a coherent sentence. Hahaha!
I feel bad for Nina because of her hearing disability. She’s trying to fit in, but she has a hard time hearing people talk, so they have to repeat themselves. If they had some consideration, they’d make allowances for her hearing difficulties and make themselves easier to hear when addressing Nina. She also wants to be one of the girls, but they’ll have none of it, and two of them go skinny dipping without her. When they return, Nina flips out on them. I guess the pressure finally got to her. At least Will is showing compassion for Nina.
Just 15 minutes into this episode and already 2 people have been targeted, due to their own actions. Oops, make that 3. So, one person from each tribe has a target on their back. What can I say…dramatic editing?
Yo Mike, slow down and play intelligently, dude! Great, now you can be a target too. Vince is jealous of Joe, not good. How juvenile! And Joe, in conversation with others, calls Vince a loose cannon. See where this is going? It’s alliance time and another player appears to have been targeted. Will it be Vince who goes home, or Dan, or Nina, or…?
Day 6: Immunity challenge time, with a side of a fishing equipment reward. First and second place get something, while the losers get to go to tribal council. Dan said that he wants to prove himself and insists on playing. Well, prove himself, he did. Way to go man! Uh oh, blurred booby time. Bet you thought I was going to say blurred lines, right? You know, that one song made $5,658,214 for Robin Thicke, $5,153,457 was given to Pharrel Williams and $704,774 came to T.I., all profits! It was the biggest hit of 2013. But, I digress.
During the challenge, Jeff sounded like he was losing his voice. You know how he likes to narrate as the players are trying to concentrate on their job. I liked the time when Rob Cesternino told JP to shut up. Haha! That was funny! Will started screwing up in the water and that was a contributing factor in the No Collar’s loss.
The White Collar tribe came from behind to win it, while the Blue Collar tribe came in 2nd. Around camp, it looks like Vince is starting to target Joe, but he changes his mind and wants to go after Jenn. He probably didn’t like the fact that she didn’t succumb to his advances. Jenn thought he was creepy. Joe trusted Will with his plan to split votes, and Will went to Vince and told him about their plan.
Once again, it appears that the younger players are up against the older ones. Jenn talked about having compassion for Nina, but she didn’t demonstrate any, in the least. It was funny when Will told Jeff that “water is a black man’s kryptonite”. That cracked me up! During questioning by JP, Jenn showed tremendous amounts of excitement and said how thrilled she was to be on Survivor. She said that she’s been a fan of the show since she was 8 years old. It was refreshing to see her exuberance.

Vince 3, Nina 1, Jenn 2. YES! Vince is history! The Coach wannabe is gone in a blindside, baby! See ya Vince! Don’t let a palm frond hit you in the ass on your way down loser’s path!
